Terms of Service

By accessing or using Pathwise ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Pathwise provides on-demand digital reports about college majors, combining publicly available data on university rankings, career outcomes, salary information, and AI disruption risk. Reports are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional academic, career, or financial advice.

2. Purchases

• All purchases are final once a report has been successfully generated and delivered.
• Payment is processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
• Refunds are governed exclusively by our Refund Policy.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use reports for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, or republish report content without written permission.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

Reports are provided "as is" based on available data sources. Pathwise makes no warranty that the information is complete, accurate, or current. Data on salaries, acceptance rates, and AI disruption is subject to change. Always verify important decisions with qualified professionals.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pathwise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or reliance on a report. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the report in question.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Before filing any legal action, you agree to first contact us at griffin@pathwiseusa.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
